flower
=================================
Single-shot. Start looking through the open sliding glass door of a balcony where a young Rieko plays scales on the piano inside. She notices a flower on the balcony and runs over to pick it. As she attempts the place the flower behind her ear, she accidentally bumps it into the side of her head and drops it. Her aghast face pans out of view as the camera follows the flower’s fall several stories down toward the ground. The music starts with the impact, the flower bouncing a bit and losing a few petals before it settles on the soil. Time speeds into a time-lapse and the flower withers and decays. The summer grass and plants wilt and the season changes to autumn. Snow covers the ground, piling up on the heads of a stone statue of frogs sitting on a log. The snow melts and the plants become vibrant again. With the swell into the chorus, the soil where Rieko’s picked flower decayed pops out a sprout grown from its seed.
The vine snakes up the side of the building while the seasons change several more times. As the music winds down to solo piano, the vine eventually reaches the balcony to bloom into a flower. A current-day version of Kotringo sits at the piano, playing the song’s final notes. Her playing trails off without resolving when she notices a bird land on the balcony and pick the flower. Flapping over to her shoulder, the bird places the flower behind Kotringo’s ear and hops up on top of her head. With a smile, Kotringo lifts her hands and drops them toward the keyboard. Cut to black on the final chord.

Unsure of exactly what causes this. Related to
– PSDs with a timeline and bunch of layers
– Too many of such PSDs added to the After Effects projectThe error requires force quitting and can happen on PSD import or opening the project. Importing a PSD can work, but upon closing and reopening the project, it can fall and perpetually lock you out of opening.
Fixes:
– Break large PSDs into multiple smaller files, reopen the project, and add the newly created subfiles.
– Delete everything inside the recently added PSDs, reopen the project, and delete the recently added PSDs.
– Multiple After Effects projects each with only a few filesTwo-tile background scrolling control

For some reason, the below background scrolling solution renders out of After Effects with gaps between the tiles, even though the previews in After Effects have no gaps. The gap gets bigger with scroll speed. Rendering with Adobe Media Encoder correctly tiles without gaps.AME exports PNGs that are more washed out than AE PNG renders. Compensate with contrast adjustment layer in AE on final render.
AME renders all PNG sequences starting at frame 0 instead of using the composition frame number from After Effects.
