There’s not really much to say about this one. No character designs or storyboard since the video came together quickly. A song from Tsubame Novelette was chosen to celebrate the ツバメ・ノヴェレッテ event last year, and “Let me awake” was chosen because it seemed like a good fit for some Latin-style instrumentation.

I warn myself somehow

____How the story goes: You and I,
Where are we headed?Let’s stop the car next to this oak tree,
And have a little chatSuddenly, our gazes align,
Chasing two swallows flying by
Drawing identical circles,
They do a turn over our headsWhich will be the first
To fall in love?
I want to quietly watch over
That subtly different world of theirsWatching those swallows that crossed the sea
And found each other in this town,
Something subtly shifted inside me,
Although I don’t know whyI gave up on fretting so much
It only wears out my heartAtop the oak tree, what might
The two swallows be thinking?
The white swallow sings,
About something it seeks“It’s okay if we never find it,
Because meeting you was enough.
Will you search with me?”
With that, they set out to find a branchGetting off the train, I realized
What had always been standing in my way
Was that petulant child in the recesses of my mind
I’ll try to listen more carefullyIn times of change and times of stability,
When chasing a predefined happiness,
When fighting for something, and when your principles take you elsewhere,
In moments of sincerity and moments of regret,
We mustn’t destroy what we’ve built,
We mustn’t destroy our own happiness
